When my daughter was a baby, I discovered a stain spray called Dreft. I learned about the laundry soap made by the same company when I was at the MAGIC clothing convention many years ago for washing delicate grown up clothing.

You can buy it almost anywhere and it's not too expensive but it is NECESSARY if you have kids. From pasta sauce to markers, it will take out stains you thought were stuck for life. No guarantees, but it works for us! I have the large size for at home and the small size for travel. It works! You can get it at Amazon, Target, Walmart, and almost every grocery store.
